Our philosophy at ANTOKOL is to provide the best Person Centred Care and to help us achieve this, all our staff team are offered training and development opportunities. 

A continuous staff training programme is implemented to ensure that standards are maintained in line with the latest developments in Care Industry as may be laid down in appropriate legislation, regulations and guidance issued by the CQC.

The Antokol staff strives to provide its residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort are of prime importance. The Home is dedicated to maintaining consistent high quality of care with compassion and professionalism.

Carers endeavour to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all residents within a caring atmosphere and in so doing will be sensitive to the residents’ ever changing needs. Such needs may be medical/therapeutic (for physical and mental welfare), cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social and residents are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised Care Plans in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and is greatly valued. 

The Care Staff of the Home devise programmes of activities designed to encourage mental alertness, self esteem, social interaction with other residents and with recognition of the core values of care listed above. 

Residents are able to retain their own General Practitioner. Regular visits are made by the physiotherapist, the chiropodist, and the optician.
